8:8 Sirius Rises with the Sun
This day, the 8th of August is the astronomical peak of the rising of Sirius, the brightest star in the sky.
The “Lionsgate” is a portal through which the Sun in Leo aligns with the Star Sirius as it rises after 70 days in the underworld. The light of Sirius blends with the rays of the Sun, as they rise over the Giza Plateau – the world’s primary gateway.
Sirius, known to the Greeks as the “Scorching One” is a star of brilliance and luminosity, connected with excellence and magnificence in your endeavours.
Sopdet the Great Star of Isis
Known to the ancient Egyptians as Sopdet, the Great Star of Isis, the Star and the Goddess were believed to be One and the same. As She rises, She lifts Orion /Osiris from his side lying position, and elevates Him to a state of erectness. This illustrates the ancient ritual known as the Raising of the Djed Pillar, as Isis resurrects Her beloved husband through the magical names of Ra, the Sun God.
Indeed, this window of time between 26 July and 14 August is a period of heightened magic. We can all tune in and embrace the Magic of Isis into our lives. You can do this by holding in your heart that which you wish to transform, and offering it to the Great Goddess and the Star Sirius.
The Nile Star & the Great Inundation
Also known as the Nile Star, every year with the rising of Sirius the Nile would flood, like the semen of Osiris bringing fertility to the land, and giving rise to the Black Soil of Khemet. The rising of this star brought untold abundance, fertility and renewal. This star is our spiritual sun, and illuminates the pathway for humanity.
A New Turn of the Spiral
Above all, the Lionsgate represents A NEW TURN OF THE SPIRAL. You are being given the opportunity to review your life, the past year, recent cycles, and your whole life up until now. Even the cycles of your ancestors. You may let go of old energy like the skins of a snake.
Look at what is rising within you – the flame burning in your heart – and feel the searing brilliance of you soul. As you feel its power and magnificence, you will KNOW that transformation is in your hands.
You do not need manifestation rituals. All you need is ALIGNMENT – FAITH – & TRUST in the great power of your Soul, and your ability to tune into the Divine Will.
This is a month to be completely reborn.
